Friday,  April 14 - Tokyo to Okinawa

We drop off suitcase at the Mitsui Garden Hotel.

Where I will be staying after Okinawa

On to Haneda Airport for Okinawa.

Arrival, Okinawa, Naha Airport

(Marina Bay Gallery Hotel)

Aperitifs and wine on the pool deck and cafe.

Then walk to the heart of the American Village
for Tapas with Alicia!

The walk back along the seaside walk to
MB Gallery Hotel is balmy and beautiful.

 

Saturday, April 15 - Okinawa

Good Morning!

Enjoyed breakfast while it rained, on and off. 

After breakfast swam laps in the pool 

and a walk along the seawalk.

We then walked to Yuko and Alicia’s apt. 

& on to Okinawa City for Thai Food 

and Alicia’s K-Pop dance class.

We grown ups have coffee, wine 
while waiting for dance class to be over.

Back at the hotel, we rest

We watch the fireworks, have dinner and then to bed.

Sunday, April 16 - Okinawa

Hello, Breakfast!

The Breakfast Buffet

Eggs, bacon and sausage

Another seaside walk with a swim in the sea!

When Alicia finishes her homework we lunch with the girls

The rest of the day is pool fun and visiting

ALICIA!!! 

Then bath time for Alicia in the hotel room 

(there's an onsen type bath in the room)

Visiting during
"Hotel Happy Hour"

Then we go to dinner...

Delicious and fun!

Now it's good nite and good bye.
We had a great visit!

Monday, April 17 Okinawa to Tokyo

Last breakfast a MB Gallery

We get a little dollop of mashed potatoes

Taxi to Naha Airport

Tokyo...

Check in at Matsui Garden Hotel. 

Dinner - Cuban Sandwich, Mojitos,

 Guacamole & Chips @ the Havana Café

Back to Matsui Garden Hotel and bed.
