Wednesday, April 5, Tokyo to Sapporo Station

Haneda to Sapporo station

 

Then train to Hokaido/Sapporo

 

The hotel is walking distance...

Don't see any Cherry Blossoms yet, only newly uncovered bushes

 

Onsen Ryokan Yuen Hotel - Get settled and go to the onsen

The Onsen...

Nap and to dinner at Kani ya,  then gelato at Gelatoria Sorriso

Walk back to hotel

Now it's bedtime for me
I think Dave went to the Onsen...

I wouldn't know, I went to bed/sleep

Thursday, April 6: SAPPORO

Breakfast at hotel.

On the ground again, we go to the Fish Market.

Friday, 7: SAPPORO/Otaro

Otaro for the day.

We made it!

We start at the train station

We stop for some ramen

Train back to Sapporo

Back to Sapporo around 3 and meet Noriko for a visit and

dinner at King Curry

 

So good to be able to meet
Noriko in Sapporo

Then gelato at Sorriso (again)

Then it's back at the Ryokan

Saturday, 8: SAPPORO TO TOKYO

Leisurely morning - sleep in and pack, check out

Lunch at train station

Train to Airport

1 hour wait - a time change, 

then flight change so have to recheck luggage 

and wait some more.  Rough Flight and arrive late.

Back at the Lively. Like this room better.
