Off to Gora for Cherry Blossoms
...and Onsen

Saturday, April 1

Last look at the "Tatami House" in Kyoto and then off to Hakone...

  

Then the JR Shinkansen for Hakone and Gora

A 2 hour ride

Is that Fujiyama hiding under that cloud?

In Hakone Station
we take the Tozan Train/Cable Car
to Gora

We arrive at the Indigo Hotel

Waiting for check-in

My room with an onsen and view

The river sounds float in when 
the door to the bath is ajar.

After a bath and nap

we walk to find something to eat for dinner.

Back to the hotel, tired and wound up (so no photos here either)

We stop at the bar for Espresso Martini and a Kalua/Irish Cream

Monday, April 3 - Hakone & back to Tokyo

We pack and taxi to Odawara,
locker our luggage until we leave at 3:00 pm

 

Walk to Odawara Castle

 

Lunch at Marzo

Shinkansen to Tokyo

Tuesday, April 4 - TOKYO

Rest day - sleep in
Check out neighborhood for breakfast
