The weekend starts out a little dreary.
Cloudy, rainy, can’t see the Pyrenees |
So, for our walk out today, we prepare…
Now, where is that umbrella. |
We get our daily baguette and start the walk back home.
We are almost home |

Next day, the weather seems better, so we meet Christie and Dave at our new favorite place…BEANZ
BEANZ Martini & pecan chocolate tart |
David and John |
Lifetime friends, even in France |
We walk home with the threat of rain |
The next day is glorious but I
forgot my phone when we went out.
We were going to get take out for dinner at our house
tonite with Christie and David from O’Chicken Doré
because the website said they are open on Mondays
but they were closed…
“It is France…”
Closed today… |

“Oh, what a beautiful mor r r r ning 🎶”
I look out the bedroom window |
I am inspired!
I finish the Pyrenees, I think.
It needs something else…
Start on a new one.
It’s the trees warning us that winter’s on it’s way.
Just experimenting for a final piece to come |

Finishing the paintings and deciding it might be frame worthy.
(At least the tree)
“Pyrenees View” |
“Winter is Coming” |
In the evening, we meet Christie and David

It’s the end of the week, we get ready for the weekend
by going to L’ Halles for cheese, sausages.
It’s another gorgeous day,
we take advantage of a park bench.
Enjoying the views
We go home, go to the bread place for cookies
and stop at the Jardin by the church.
We got a tour of the Jardin today,
where all is grown in nature’s way.
No photos…yet. Maybe added later…
Now we get ready for Olivia’s visit for the weekend!
