Susie (me), Deadria Boyland, Stephanie Robinette
Loretta Berteaux Robinette, JB, Carolyn Hayes
And Jada Berteaux
(Ramonne Hayes didn’t make it today.)

Some of us hadn’t seen each other in 20 or 30 years.
We got acquainted and talked about

We also shared old family stories and laughed a lot.
Next Zoom will be in December or January.

Wet leaves everywhere

It’s raining…

It’s Friday and we are ready to go to Chalabre and Esperáza to visit friends.

It’s windy and raining very hard.
John tries to call a taxi, but can’t get through, so
we need to take the bus to take us to the airport for the car rental.
We miss both buses to the airport so we have to wait another hour
for the next airport bus.

In Starbucks for the hour
wait for the airport bus

We are 45 minutes late for our car pick up,
we get our car.
After we sit in the car and try to figure out
how to use the GPS.
We play around with it for about 15 minutes
and decide to use my phone.
We are off only 1.5 later than we expected.
It’s still raining and we are on the roads
of Southern France toward our destination
of Chalabre - 3.5 hours away.

I think this is A64
Very wet

Looks a little closer - off into some villages

This looks like we are closer yet.

The stretch of trees into Chalabre!

We arrived and we’re parked.
Gonna rest well tonite.

Black car, our rental.
Window above ajar, our bedroom,
