First we go to Chalabre to fully charge the car and go to the Tabac for a recharge of our phone and tablet.
Then to the Sports Bar for a café au latte and hot chocolate while waiting for our charge.
As you can see I liked this "Chocolat Chaud" |
Now we just have to write-in our choices
Looking out the window while finishing the blog |
That's it for today.
We are exhausted by our trip to Toulouse on Friday.

The Tabac in Chalabre can't tell us why the recharge (or "top off") doesn't work on our devices and recommends we go to Mirepoix for new cards.
We drive to Mirepoix to see about new SIM cards
Mirepoix car park.
We usually use the charging station, so this is new to us.
I can't seem to register this SIM card! |

It's been a frustrating day, trying to activate the new SIM card.
Can't seem to make sense of it at all.
Am frustrated and putting my Verizon SIM card back in my phone and reactivate Verizon with the international plan that we have.

Looking forward to getting 2 loaves of delicious bread from the bread man this afternoon at 4:30 pm
A no show - maybe it's a holiday?! |
Wednesday, Nov. 2
Finally figured out the phone stuff by calling Verizon in California and now can use the phone without getting cut off in the middle of a call.
Have to go to Chalabre for bread (since we thought we'd have some from the bread man last night). John buys me a cup of hot chocolate at the Sports Bar.
Thursday, Nov. 3
Just a kick-back day. Feeling better than the last few days. Multi Vitamins from the Pharmacy in Chalabre, yesterday and a good night's sleep contribute to the "feeling better" plus the phone works okay now and have enough food and supplies for the next few days. It's raining, so it's an inside day.
In the meantime, one of the blog followers was curious about the pellet stove.
The pellet stove is really the heater that seems to heat up all the living space in this house.
It seems to be more efficient than the radiator heaters on the wall so we are using it more.
Here is the red bin where the pellets go |

75 bags of pellets - to last the winter! |

It's still raining and is a little windy. We make a quick trip to Chalabre for more bread.
On the way home we stop at the Moulin for something to eat.
We are welcomed into a warm comfortable dining room.
Veggie Burger for John |
White fish green sauce, squash puree and mashed potatoes for me |

We go home |
Hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
