4 rue Barbes Pink Wisteria Blooming |
We are still recovering from last week,
hoping that no
more surprises pop up.
Weather is nice, so we take walks along the river…
The river Aude is still a little rough after the rains |
Walking between the river and homes Lots of folks walking their dogs |
Wisteria in bloom everywhere |
Ruins of an abandoned farmhouse |
The beginnings of a small vineyard |
The trout reserve |
The French farmer's garden He seems to be here every time we walk by |
Byciclers abound here in "Tour de France" country |
On our way back home thru back streets near the river |
We're almost home... Eglise St Michel in sight (Rennes le Chateau in the distance) |
We go to French Class
and after class we have café au laits
with our classmates at l’Origynal.
Good conversation and Cafe au Lait here . . . |
We are looking to rent an apartment in Pacific
Grove and are having trouble with online forms.
Very frustrating, we can't seem to be able to do what we need online.
Sooooo,
Saturday we find ourselves going
to Carcassonne –
the only place we can print out documents from online emails,
sign them, and fax them back to the rental agency in Pacific Grove.
Waiting at the Gare for the bus |
The stop in Couiza buses are rather new & very comfortable |
After taking care of our business, we relax a bit in the Carcassonne Plaza |
Before going to the bus stop for our return we go to the train station to buy train tickets to Paris Take a look at that sky and clouds - beautiful sight |
Waiting for the bus back to Esperaza |
The final turn towards the Esperaza city limits - looks like rain |
Print Day In May… 5/5/2012
I had been waiting for this event for about 2 months
but with the trip to Carcassonne...
All supplies and paraphernalia are ready to go for printing, but... all that got printed was the rental form |
Another look at the Dimanche Marche on Week 9
Seems to be a few more vendors |
Still lots of beautiful fresh vegetables |
Musical noise makers available, too |
Fromage and miel along with Blanquette available |
Our next door neighbor - Brunch Shopping Lorenz chatting with customers |
That's about it for this week...
Next week???
